The second film in the Divergent Trilogy, Insurgent, opened with much fanfare and $54 million dollars at the US box office, and $101 million globally. The movie is based on the second book of the Divergent series by Veronica Roth and is considered as a science fiction adventure film. Insurgent continues with the ending of the last movie, where Tris, Four, Peter, and Caleb are fugitives that are being hunted down by Erudite to pay for their crimes. The hard drive in the Insurgent book, which contains the big message about the faction system, has been replaced by the mystery box.
